Gallery U's Mixed Media Wreaths Make Debut
Forget the Holly berries and the evergreen boughs, if you're looking to impress your friends and neighbors with your seasonal wreath, there's only one way to go this year: recycled mixed media.
The folks over at Gallery U are offering Halloween wreaths now through the end of the month, or as long as supplies last. Crafted over the course of two months by their adult clients with traumatic brand injuries, the wreaths are made out of everything from paper cups, to hair curlers, mardi gras beads, party favors and even the odd plastic eyeball or two.
The wide array of styles, sizes and designs can be seen at Gallery U on 80 Broad St. or at the JBJ Soul Kitchen on Monmouth Street, where they are also on display and available for purchase.
The Wacky Tacky Wreaths are available for purchase for $15. Proceeds from the sale of the wreaths benefit the Monmouth County Food Bank.
